How to become an OFF-LEASH P.O.
If you are confident, outgoing, energetic, and naturally great with both dogs and people, you may have what it takes to become a Park Organizer at OFF-LEASH. We look for individuals who take pride in professionalism, have sharp attention to detail, understand canine behavior, and can perform calmly and confidently in fast-moving environments. Active listening, strong situational awareness, and emotional control are essential. Experience working with dogs, animal behavior knowledge, or veterinary support training is highly valued.
OFF-LEASH offers part-time and full-time roles depending on operational needs. All P.O.s are trained to uphold strict safety standards, maintain facility cleanliness, and deliver a consistent, elevated member experience. A P.O. is a trained professional responsible for maintaining safety, structure, and experience inside the park. They actively supervise playgroups, read canine body language, prevent escalation before it happens, and uphold strict cleanliness and behavior standards.
Park Organizers build trust with both dogs and their humans by delivering calm leadership, clear communication, and consistent service.

Enforce all OFF-LEASH rules; including behavior standards, member + dog etiquette, capacity limits, and hygiene requirements.
Maintain continuous visual coverage of the park.
Greet members, verify reservations, confirm waivers/vetting status, and ensure proper check-in procedures.
Direct safe introductions between dogs and manage playgroup flow.
Immediately address unsafe, aggressive, or disruptive behavior according to protocol.
Maintain facility cleanliness: spot clean accidents, sanitize high-touch surfaces, refresh water stations, and monitor turf condition.
Document incidents, behavior concerns, injuries, or rule violations.
Support daycare operations, private events, and member questions as needed.
Leave the facility reset, clean, stocked, and fully prepared for the next shift.

Starting pay for a Park Organizer ranges from $10–$15 per hour, based on relevant experience, demonstrated skill, and overall fit with our standards.
Candidates who move forward after the initial interview may be invited to complete a working interview. This hands-on evaluation allows us to assess real-time judgment, situational awareness, dog-handling ability, and professionalism in a live park environment.

1–3+ years of experience working with dogs in a professional setting (daycare, boarding, training, veterinary clinic, shelter, grooming, etc.) is required.
Demonstrated understanding of canine body language, play styles, stress signals, and escalation patterns.
Ability to remain calm, controlled, and decisive in fast-paced or high-energy environments.
Strong situational awareness; able to monitor multiple dogs simultaneously without distraction.
Comfortable enforcing rules and redirecting unsafe behavior respectfully but firmly.
High level of personal accountability and reliability; consistent attendance and punctuality required.
Strong communication skills with both team members and guests.
Customer-service oriented while maintaining authority in safety-related situations.
Ability to follow structured protocols and adhere to strict facility standards.
Physically capable of standing for extended periods, moving quickly, lifting 40+ lbs, and safely intervening between dogs when necessary.
Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and peak traffic sessions.
Willingness to receive feedback, complete training, and continuously improve skills.
Basic familiarity with scheduling systems or POS platforms preferred.
CPR/First Aid certification (human or pet) preferred but not required

Park Organizer (P.O.)

The Park Manager is responsible for overall facility performance, safety enforcement, staff leadership, and revenue execution. This role ensures daily operations run smoothly, Park Organizers uphold standards, and members receive a consistent, premium experience.
The Manager oversees scheduling, training, incident review, cleanliness standards, and performance metrics while driving memberships, retention, and meeting quotas. This position reinforces the standard for accountability, discipline, and culture inside OFF-LEASH.

Oversee full facility operations; ensure safety, cleanliness, and service standards are consistently upheld.
Supervise and direct Park Organizers; enforce performance standards and provide real-time coaching.
Monitor session flow and daycare throughput.
Review and resolve behavioral incidents, member complaints, and escalated situations.
Report directly to the CEO and execute/enforce new policies, promotional offers, and initiatives.
Verify and enforce staff compliance with the OFF-LEASH Employee Handbook.
Monitor labor efficiency and shift productivity metrics.
Conduct spot inspections of turf, sanitation areas, inventory, and equipment.
Document incidents, staff performance issues, and operational notes before shift end.
Ensure facility is reset, clean, fully stocked, and prepared for the next shift.

The ideal candidate is flexible and available 5 days per week, with additionally scheduled “on-call” shifts in the event of an emergency or other event requiring management’s immediate attention.

Starting pay for a Park Manager ranges from $16–$19 per hour, based on relevant experience, demonstrated skill, and overall fit with our standards.

3–5+ years of leadership or management experience with direct oversight of staff, scheduling, and daily operations.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams with discipline, accountability, and consistency.
Proven track record of operational reliability, sound judgment, and professional integrity.
Strong conflict resolution skills; able to handle escalated member issues and behavioral incidents calmly and decisively.
High level of trustworthiness; capable of handling cash flow oversight, reporting, staffing decisions, and confidential information.
Experience managing performance metrics, labor efficiency, and operational KPIs.
Ability to enforce policies and standards without hesitation while maintaining professionalism.
Clear communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to coach, correct, and motivate staff.
Strong situational awareness and decision-making ability in fast-paced environments.
Experience in customer-facing service environments with a premium brand standard.
Pet industry experience (dog daycare, boarding, training, veterinary support, grooming, shelter operations, etc.) preferred but not required.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field preferred but not required.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Physically capable of standing for extended periods, lifting 40+ lbs, and moving safely in an active dog-play environment.
Comfortable with technology platforms (scheduling software, POS systems, reporting dashboards).
